Oops, it has been a while... 

there has been the school fête, the photo session and the attempt at getting a decent picture of us three for father's day, we've had nice guests around, there has been rain and sunshine

and i have been making a few dolls. they will be in the shop on Tuesday, I will specify the time over the weekend.

he's arrived!

little baby boy was born this morning at 6am, we do not have any name for him yet.. and we're all home already, exhausted but happy. thank you for your comments and encouragements below, it did help me a great deal these last few days.

38 weeks

we are getting near.. my body aches all over and I am quite tired, but no complaint, my second pregnancy has been pretty smooth all the way.

I am hoping to update my shop next Tuesday hopefully, this little number will be there.

we're back. Holidaying in Ibiza was nice and peaceful, we've enjoyed the beach and sunshine a lot.

just enjoying summertime

the sun is shining, hope it will last..

this week, I made a short version of this dress but haven't quite managed to take a photo yet, maybe I will do so this weekend.

my mum is coming over tomorrow, she is staying with us for a few days then Julian, Léon and myself are off to the Greenman festival . we've been going every year for the last three years and I can't wait to pitch the tent up, sit down and just enjoy the music.

on the way

Today i am happy and relieved, i had my twenty weeks scan this morning and everything is fine. I can thus reveal we are expecting baby number 2 at the end of November, I am feeling excited, worried ( a bit less now), impatient ( we're keeping the sex of the baby as a surprise), exhausted.. but most of all happy.

of course i had to scour ebay for vintage maternity patterns, found this 1970's butterick number below

and made my own version of the dress - short sleeved and collarless - out of a very light hand dyed cotton material

anyway, we can't wait!
