these two Dutch plates were thrifted last week and are about to be hung in the kitchen.

birds and mushroom

here is a sneak peek of some new birds I have made for my shop which I still hope to reopen towards the end of the month .. if not early October..

I got these cute scraps of vintage mushroom fabric on ebay, i really like the turquoise tones of the one at the top left. as per usual i have no idea what to make out of it, they're just nice to look at for now.

and couldn't resist taking that photo of Léon having an unsual nap on Friday afternoon. this is what a hectic week at nursery does to you.

routine

so we have got back into in a routine which involves taking  Léon to pre nursery for a couple of hours a day and me trying to sort the work on the house as there is still a fair amount to be done - also I would like to update my website with a new look and new items but I can't see that happening before the end of the month... and I seem to remember there is a new baby coming soon and we aren't prepared at all on any levels.

we're back. Holidaying in Ibiza was nice and peaceful, we've enjoyed the beach and sunshine a lot.
